Thank You Columbus!

Columbus Day is considered a government holiday so Brock had Friday and Monday off so he was able to fly home! YAY!! We had a lot of fun, going to the park, watching movies, eating at a great English restaurant (it brought back mission memories for Brock), and making sail boats in honor of Christopher Columbus with our good friends B & Jenn and Brock's brother Hal and Ashley. I love getting together with our friends and eating great food and having fun! It's always a good time the Holladay and Frost fam get together! Don't know the next time Brock will be out, hopefully sooner than later. I love you Brock and can't wait to see you again!

Ok here is a random pic. I found Owen in the cabinet eating rice crispies.

I know what you are thinking, What the heck is she wearing? I didn't realize until after I took the pictures that she is wearing her witch dress costume. No she is not homeless, she just likes to play dress up.

Getting ready to launch their boats out to the open sea. 2 out of the 4 made it through the voyage across to the other side.

Our trips up to the cabin

2 weekends last month the kids and I went up to my parents cabin in Pinetop. Our first trip my older sister and her hubby, my little sister and my parents came with us. It was so much fun and the weather was great!! There was sunshine, some rain and even hail. It was so nice spending time with my sisters and my mom. The kids had a great time running around outside. The second trip it was just my parents, me and the kids. My dad was re-staining the cabin and my mom didn't want my dad up on the roof staining without someone else there with him. It was pretty freaky watching him up there. So again the kids had a blast and so did I.

Cheese!!!

Trip #2

There's my dad re-staining the roof! I told you, pretty freaky huh?! That's a metal roof at a total slant. There is no flat place to stand.

They are so zoned into the movie. WallE will do that to you.
