Happy Birthday Owen!

Back in the beginning of January, before Brock went back to Illinois, we celebrated Owen's 2nd birthday. We also celebrated Brock's (Dec. 31) and my bro Aaron's (Dec. 27) birthday at the same time.
I can't believe Owen is 2!! I hate how fast the time is going!!

The Birthday cake..............it's a dinosaur.

Sunny San Diego

That's right, we are moving to San Diego, California! We couldn't be more excited! Brock graduates from his Dental Assistant program Wed. Jan 13th and hopefully be on a plane home that same day. Then Brock and I will leave Thursday early morning to San Diego to go and get the paperwork filled out to get military housing (hopefully we'll get the keys to our place that same day). Then when everything is squared away we will head back to AZ to get the kids and all of our stuff!! Yay, we will be back together as a family again. Words can't describe how excited we are!!
Brock has been in Great Lakes, IL for the past 8 months, and he is so ready to get out of there! Especially now, it is freezing!!!
Woohoo, San Diego here we come!!

Christmas Day!

The kids had so much fun opening all their gifts from Santa and the family. Thanks everyone for the great gifts!!

Oh yeah, here is the note Marissa left for Santa with his cookies Christmas Eve.

Marissa Christmas morning waiting to open her gifts!

OK, these next few are a series of pictures of Owen opening up his present from Uncle Matt. He got him a giant stuffed shark. Owen was TERRIFIED! It took him a few days to warm up to it.

Here is Owen opening up the gift, not sure what to think.

DAD SAVE ME!!! I have never seen Owen move so fast. He climbed up Brock's chest to get away from the shark.

He is so freaked out right now! We tried to get his mind off it by giving him another present.

He's keeping an eye on that thing. He didn't want it near him for the rest of the day. I'm sorry Owen but that was the funniest thing ever!

Marissa got her very first Barbie doll. Thanks Uncle Matt!

And last the kids playing with some of their new toys.

Making Christmas Cookies!

Marissa had so much fun making cookies w/ Aunt Sissy (Melissa).

Owen decided he would make his own in the sink with some water. He stood up there and dump water into a bowl then mix it and then add more water for about 15 minutes.

Marissa frosted and decorated her own sugar cookies!

Owen wanted to help and that is why there is a big pile of chocolate sprinkles on the plate. He dumped the entire container! Thanks Owen!

Here comes Santa Clause.....

I know I know I'm a little late. This year was the first year that we took Marissa to see Santa. She loved it! I'm glad Owen didn't freak out he just sat there and didn't know what to think.

Preschool is her favorite!

Marissa loves preschool. I am so sad that she only has about a week or 2 left. Hopefully we will be moving to San Diego by the middle of the month but we are not set on dates yet. The military doesn't move very quickly, we have come to find out. Before the Christmas break I took a picture of Marissa's school mates and her with her teacher. She will miss them so much. She has made so many new friends and has learned so much thanks to a wonderful teacher.

Marissa and all of her friends at school!!

Marissa with her teacher Ms. Shawni.

Here is the school house. It is in Ms. Shawni's backyard. So cute!!

Owen had so much fun playing on the playground as I took pictures of Marissa and her friends. It was a fight to get him back into the car.
