We Are So Proud of Him!!!!

Brock was promoted to Petty Officer third class last week and we are so proud. It's a really hard promotion to get and to get it after only being in a year was amazing! Brock has been working so hard and it shows. First his promotion and second he won Sailor of the Quarter for the SW region. Now he will have some interviews to see if he will then become Sailor of the Year for the Region. We love you Brock!! Thank you for everything you do for us!! USA vs England

Last Saturday Team USA and England were playing each other in the World Cup Tournament and so Brock and I decided to pay a little tribute to the mother country and make some traditional English food. Brock served his mission in England and he is dieing to go back!!! First we made our version of a Cornish Pasty. It's meat, onions, potatoes, and gravy all wrapped up in pie crust. Oh it was so good!! Then for desert we bought, pardon my language, Spotted Dick (it's like a spiced cake w/ raisins) and English Custard. It was really good!!

Weekend in Vegas

This Memorial weekend Brock and I along with Hal and Ashley went to Vegas for some fun without the kids! We had such a great time! Thank you Mom and Melissa for watching our two little ones. It was nice to see them both and also little Lucy who I haven't seen since she was born (6 weeks ago). She is getting so big and has changed so much, it makes me sad that we are so far away!

I thought this was so cool, one of my favorite things i saw! Lame I know but I just loved all the colors and I knew Marissa would of loved if she was there to see it.
